Ultramid® B

Why do so many film, monofilament, fiber, and compound applications rely on Ultramid® B nylon 6? It could be the broad selection of grades we produce. Or possibly the high quality it's known for. Or the tremendous balance of mechanical properties such as toughness, abrasion and heat resistance, and ease of processability. Or the precedence of reliability it's established in the several decades since its introduction. We'll let you decide.

Ultramid® C

What if a nylon existed that had a lower extrusion temperature, higher clarity, greater softness, and was easy to process but remained tough? We had the same "what if" conversation and came up with the Ultramid® C family of polymers. Our portfolio was crafted to deliver the right level of mechanical and optical properties and remain highly orientable and thermoformable for your filament and film applications.

Ultramid® F

With our new bio-based chemistry, we've created something special, something different. Rather than offer yet another linear chain polyamide, we've gone another route by creating a short-chain branched nylon that does things other nylons can't and all with a lower carbon footprint. Need better tear resistance for your multilayer films? Acid resistance? Clarity? Low-temperature toughness? We've got you covered with our Flex F lineup.

Ultramid® A

Sometimes a nylon with higher crystallinity and a higher melting temperature is desired. This is where Ultramid® A fits in. With a melting point of 260C and its inherently higher rigidity, it can provide the mechanical and thermal advantage you're looking for.
