In fact, they meet ANSI/UL 1581: Reference Standard for Electrical Wires, Cables, and Flexible Cords and ANSI/UL 83: Thermoplastic-Insulated Wires and Cables standards and have a UL QMTT2 listing as a polymeric material for use in wire, cable, and flexible lighting products.
